Mailing Lists
Get the latest news about Barclay James Harvest reissues, DVDs etc., plus John Lees' Barclay James Harvest tour dates and new releases, delivered direct to your mail box for free! Alternatively, join in an e-mail or web-based discussion of all things Barclay James Harvest. Both of these services are provided completely free by Yahoo Groups, in return for a small advertisement which is added to every message that you receive from the lists. Unfortunately, without the advertising, the lists could not exist, so it seems a small price to pay.
What Are The BJH Lists?
The first is a free news announcement list maintained by Keith & Monika Domone of the International Barclay James Harvest Fan Club. Subscribers receive occasional news bulletins when there are John Lees' Barclay James Harvest tour dates, new releases or other important news about the band or its members. It is not possible to post messages to the list, and the addresses of list members are not used for any other purpose. The second list is an automated e-mail based fans' discussion group, also owned by Keith & Monika. BJH fans can subscribe, completely free, to the list and discuss with other fans anything to do with Barclay James Harvest or its offshoots. You can join in and send your own messages, or simply "lurk" and read what others have to say. Members of the list can unsubscribe at any time.
How Do I Subscribe?
Simply click on the buttons below!
OR
Send a blank e-mail to ibjhfc-subscribe@yahoogroups.com (news)
or bjh-subscribe@yahoogroups.com (discussion).
Please note that there are two options when you subscribe to the lists, as follows:-
Normal Subscription
With this option you will receive every message that is posted to the list as a separate e-mail. We recommend this option for the news announcement list. If you select this option for the discussion list, you will receive messages very quickly after they are posted, but you may also find that you are receiving a lot of messages, especially if you are away or can't check your e-mail for a while.Digest Subscription
The digest may be a better option for the discussion group if you're not quite such a committed fan! Here all the postings sent to the list are parcelled up regularly, usually once a day, and sent to you as a single e-mail. Whichever option you choose, you can change to the other at any time. How Do I Post Messages To The Discussion List?
Send your message as an e-mail to bjh@yahoogroups.com.How Do I Unsubscribe?
If you no longer wish to receive messages from either list, send a blank e-mail go to the Yahoo Groups Web Site and follow the instructions to unsubscribe from the list.
Send a blank e-mail to ibjhfc-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com (news)
or bjh-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com (discussion).
If all else fails, e-mail us at ibjhfc@bjharvest.co.uk, and we will remove you from the list.
Have I Missed Anything?
Yahoo keep all postings sent to the list available for reading on their own web site. Click on the button below to check out the archives.
