[n.b. A newspaper clipping from December 1971 claimed that Françoise Hardy was recording “Galadriel” as a single for release in January 1972. Thanks to Warren Gilbert, who runs the official Françoise Hardy web site, we have a definitive answer from Françoise herself:-

‘I have never heard of the song “Galadriel", and the only Barclay James Harvest's song I have ever listened to is "Waiting For The Right Time". (I am not too happy with my adaptation).”
