Bias has also worked with Tony Visconti and Kiki Dee among others, appearing on five of Kiki's albums and also writing several songs including the 1974 hit single "I've Got The Music In Me" (later covered by Heart). It was whilst working on a Kiki Dee project in 1980 that he met producer Pip Williams, which led to his being invited to appear on BJH's Ring Of Changes album in 1983, followed by Victims Of Circumstance in 1984 and the subsequent European Tour. 1986 saw him assisting in the recording of the Face To Face album, and Bias's last tour with Barclay James Harvest was in 1987.

Hired as a second keyboard player for the Moody Blues tours in 1986 and 1989, Bias became their first keyboardist upon the departure of Patrick Moraz in 1991. He also participated in the recording of 1991's Keys Of The Kingdom and numerous tours, finally leaving the Moodies after the April 2001 tour.

Bias's other credits include tours with Sheena Easton and Gerrard Kenny, appearances on Kevin Ayers' Sweet Deceiver LP, Beverley Craven's eponymous debut, and Chris Farlowe's 1986 offering, Born Again. He co-wrote songs called "Dreams Of Home" and "Return Of The Avenger" with Duane Eddy in 1996. Most recently he played keyboards on Lindsey Thompson's album Room In A Basement in 2000. Amongst the many keyboards he uses is the Kurzweil K2000.
