Comments: Has to be a reason is one of my favourite songs of all time. Highly underrated musician who should be more well known. May he rest in peace.

Comments: I heard of Wooly's passing some time ago and was greatly saddened to hear the news, but have only just become aware of this guestbook. I loved his music and it still gives me great pleasure to listen to. Truly hope he is at peace now.

Comments: I’m so sad to hear of your passing and have special memories of you and me singing together back in the early days of our band. First Art N Soul and The Wickeds and then the coming together as Rod Graham and The Blues Keepers. We then moved into Preston House together as a five piece band but after a while John Crowther wanted to rename the band. We became Buckley James Harvest for about 10minutes, but then John wanted to change the Buckley to something else and you and I suggested Barclay, which had a more distinctive classy ring to it.So as five founder members we became Barclay James Harvest! We carried on as a five piece for a couple of weeks but then JC had decided to make it a four piece. The rest is history, but you became the Heart and Soul of that band. I loved your humour and friendship and I will never forget your cheeky laugh. We had some great times. I have no regrets Wooley, just thought I would put the record straight. RIP. Good Night from Buck ( Rodney James Buckley) ex Founder Member of BJH.

Comments: BJH is the music I longed for in my youth in the south-west of the GDR. At that time it was an eternal dream for LP's (vinyl), which my relatives from the BRD (FRG) brought me on the occasion of birthdays or Christmas. They were cherished and cared for and listened to until only campfires could be heard. I knew all the LPs I was given by heart. Attending a concert was unthinkable, the concert in front of the Reichstag in 1980 and the only concert in the GDR in 1987 in Berlin were not known in the GDR "province".
Thank you for the great music of my youth!

Comments: I just watched the 2006 "Legacy" BJH concert playing with your friend and original band member John plus the boys in JLBJH...It was so good to see you playing your keyboards once again and singing your signature songs Harbour & my favourite The Iron Maiden. You were on form and your voice was as good as ever... You are missed! And so good to see Mel's name on your keyboard. YOur banter & witty comments always enlivened the BJH shows... Legend Live on! RIP Woolly & Mel.
